The 2009 Air District Wood Stove Rebate
Program has ended.

Click here for information on the IRS Tax Credit for purchasing
and installing new EPA-certified wood stoves and pellet stoves.

In the past, the Air District offered financial incentives to replace older,
highly polluting wood stoves with cleaner heating devices. Participants
have reported that their new stove uses less wood and produces more
heat. No rebate programs are active at present.

This graphic shows that EPA certified wood stoves
produce much less smoke than older, non-certified
stoves. Gas stoves are even cleaner than EPA-
certified wood stoves.
