2011 Calendar Art Contest - The Winning Pictures |

The 13th annual Clean Air Month Calendar Art Contest awards ceremony was held on May 18, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District (MBUAPCD), Board Chambers. MBUAPCD sponsors this event to highlight Clean Air Month. Over 755 posters were received from students depicting daily practices to improve air quality through biking, walking, carpooling, vanpooling, riding the bus, or telecommuting.
1st through 8th grade students residing in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties participated in the contest. Thirteen students were selected to receive a cash award of $100. The selected designs will be featured in the District's 2012 calendar.
