At the October 19, 2011 board meeting, the Monterey Bay Unified APCD Board of Directors voted to suspend accepting applications for the Carl Moyer Grant Program (CMP) until all current applications have been processed and new program improvements have been established.

Staff is actively working to improve the district's CMP. Applicants currently face a 2-3 year wait from time of application to time of grant agreement. A moratorium on new applications will facilitate a smooth implementation of program improvements. The district will again accept applications after all existing applications have been processed and an improved version of the program is approved for implementation.

We anticipate accepting new applications in April 2013.
